HomeVietAm Review (Vietnamese American Achievement)Dec 25, 2007
Hello, I am glad to be a facilitator of communication about Vietnamese Americans and the Diaspora after 1975, and especially to be an English language editor for Nguyen Chi Thien in his new book, the Hoa Lo/Hanoi Hilton Stories published by Yale University Southeast Asia Studies in 2007.

Dear Professor Jean Libby, I’m just wondering do you read or speaking in Vietnamese at all? I'm just amazed how you've known such in-deep in history of Vietnam. Most local libraries books only tell one side of stories which are mostly by international communist propaganda. When they tell stories about the Vietnam war it’s only between the American and the Vietcong. They never tell about 1.5 millions ARVN killed and wounded by defending for Freedom. I’ve a lots of respect and such a honor knowing you. Oh well, I’m wishing you always in good heath and keep doing the good work.
